Banana & Almond Mini Smoothie -A Great Simple Anytime Snack

Gluten Free, Processed Carbs Free, Dairy Free, Sweet and Yummy

I used this snack to great effect during my elimination diet and still use it today. One of my worst snacking time is between dinner and bed. This super simple and quick snack idea ticks a few boxes for me. Its sweet but with no simple or processed sugar, its gluten and dairy free and has healthy protein and fat This hits the spot. - Steve

Banana & Almond Mini Smoothie

Section 1: Ingredients

  • 1 cup plant milk (oat or almond works well)

  • 1 banana

  • Handful of almonds or 1 Ts of almond butter (or both)

  • 5 or 6 ice cubes

Section 2 : Directions

This is the really complicated part.

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender

  2. Blend until smooth

  3. Sit on the couch and enjoy (that's what I do)

As some of you may know, I live and work with the elimination diet police so I have very limited cheating opportunities. This passed inspection with flying colours.
